A mandatory virtual pre-bid conference for all parties interested in
bidding the project will be held at 10:00 AM on 12/20/2023 on a Zoom call-in telephone
number: 312-626-6799 Meeting ID: 884 5152 8254, Passwords: 1867. After the mandatory
pre-bid conference, the bidders are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory meeting at the
site on Friday, December 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Bidders shall meet on the first floor of the
Willard Airport Main Terminal, adjacent to the escalators. Those present will be escorted
to the project site. The main terminal is located at 11 Airport Rd, Savoy, IL. Representatives
of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions
regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to
attend.
Bid Information

The Owner will receive separate sealed bids for
the project. Each bid shall identify the name of the Protected Subcontractor(s) if
any, and the bid proposal costs, including alternates, for each of the following
divisions of work that are applicable for this project. The contract entered into with
the successful bidder shall identify that no identified Protected Subcontractor in the
Bid Document 00 40 00 may be terminated without the written consent of Owner.

Submit bids on forms furnished by the Owner as one pdf less than 200

of work, the later bid will be considered official.
Electronic Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM, prevailing time,
on 1/16/2024.

Site Visit Information
The Bidder, before submitting a bid for this Work, shall visit and carefully
examine the site of the Work in order to have full knowledge of, and to fully understand and
appreciate, the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the performance of the
contract for which a bid is submitted. The Bidder shall take all required measurements and
carefully inspect all existing conditions, constructions, irregularities, and interferences
which may affect the Work under this contract.

Description
The project consists of a relocation of the current TSA lane as well as the addition of a new
TSA lane. The space currently being utilized for the airport's TSA checkpoint will be moved
to an underutilized space in the airport. The underutilized space contains partitions,
bathrooms, and other elements that must first be demolished. A second-floor-only addition
will be constructed to allow for the full length of the TSA lanes.

the base bids and alternates for this project.
