A virtual pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the
project will be held at 10:00 AM on 11/7/2023 on a Zoom call-in telephone number 312-
626-6799, Meeting ID: 842 3346 4337 Password: 1867. Bidders are encouraged to attend
an on-site visit November 8, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Meet in the lobby of the project site prior
to 10:30 AM to be escorted to the pool equipment room. Representatives of the Owner and
the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the
project and bidding procedures.

Meeting ID: 892 6711 6905 Password: 1867 and tabulated. A recording of the bid
opening is available upon request.
Site Visit Information
The Bidder, before submitting a bid for this Work, shall visit and carefully
examine the site of the Work in order to have full knowledge of, and to fully understand and
appreciate, the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the performance of the
contract for which a bid is submitted. The Bidder shall take all required measurements and
carefully inspect all existing conditions, constructions, irregularities, and interferences
which may affect the Work under this contract.
Description
The general scope of this project is to remove the three existing pool filters and replace
with two new pool filtration systems that service the exterior and interior pools at the
Activities and Recreation Center. The area of work is limited to pool equipment room 1330.
Refer to Division 01 of the technical specifications for a complete, detailed breakdown of
the base bids and alternates for this project.
This project includes a Project Labor Agreement that will be executed between the lowest
responsible/responsive bidder and the East Central Illinois Building and Construction
Trades Council. A copy of the Project Labor Agreement is included at the end of Section
00 90 00.
